A new H2UB SPRINT Accelerator program started: The five start-ups of batch 9 joined us in Essen on September 16th, 2026.
From new approaches to hydrogen production and electrolysis to technologies tackling efficiency, scalability and industrial deployment, the new batch brings together solutions addressing some of the key challenges along the hydrogen value chain:

As one of “Europe’s Leading Start-up Hubs”, recognized by the Financial Times and Statista, we were excited to welcome the next generation of ambitious green tech start-ups to the H2UB and BRYCK ecosystem. Together with the wider @BRYCK Startup Alliance Accelerator batch, the teams kicked off the program with a full first day of pitches, introductions and working sessions:
- Each team introduced its technology, business model and priorities to the wider accelerator community.
- Each start-up met their individually matched mentors and experts from the H2UB and BRYCK ecosystems.
- In the first feedback sessions, they started working on the specific business and technology challenges that will shape their journey over the coming weeks.
What’s next? Over the coming weeks, the teams will work closely with their mentors and selected experts, get input around their individual challenges and connect with relevant corporates, investors and ecosystem partners.
There will also be opportunities to meet them along the way, including during the European Hydrogen Week in Brussels. Just in case you won’t get the chance, we’ll also introduce each start-up and its technology briefly over the coming weeks.
