Who can participate in the H2UB TARGET program?
Start-ups and corporate innovators developing and promoting hydrogen-related innovations from all over Europe can apply for H2UB TARGET.
Why participate?
If you want to unlock your competitive advantage, this is the right program for you! We offer access to other bright entrepreneurs and corporate innovators, inspiring market leaders and H2 experts driven by best-in-class entrepreneurial methods.
How much does it cost to participate?
Participation is free for start-ups.
For corporations, the cost is € 1.500/person. H2UB Corporate Partners can participate with 1 (Pro Partner) or 2 (Advanced Partner) persons per year as part of their membership package.
What is the application process?
Fill out the H2UB TARGET application form. After a quick review by our Ecosystem Team, we will contact you to discuss further details.
When does it take place?
The next TARGET program starts May 13th to 15th, 2025.
We have 2 batches per year, which usually take place in the first quarter and last quarter of the year.
What happens after completing the H2UB TARGET program?

Let’s take a look back into the past
Our former 3-week early stage start-up program BOOTCAMP featured 16 start-ups, combined with feedback from our corporate and start-up ecosystem in four batches.
It took place from 2022-2024 and brought a variety of early stage start-ups and future founders together in Essen to catalyze revolutionary ideas into viable business ventures.
We were joined by teams from across Europe, representing the entire hydrogen value chain from production to storage, as well as mobility and digital solutions.
Participants were able to benefit from mentoring, workshops and community events while having access to our workspace. During the program, topics such as finding investors, prototyping and sustainability were discussed. Each BOOTCAMP concluded with our Community Pitch event.
With our TARGET program, we have taken the lessons learned from BOOTCAMP and applied them to maximize the value of our new program.
