We regularly organize events and event series on relevant topics from the hydrogen industry. The various formats offer hydrogen start-ups a stage to present themselves and our partners an opportunity to share their expertise in hydrogen projects, start-up financing, procurement of resources and much more. Through this (knowledge) exchange, the H2UB network connects and all members can benefit from each other. Here you’ll find an overview of our scheduled and past events. Other interesting hydrogen events can be found here:

H2UB start-up meetup – Funding and Financing
In our discussions with start-ups, financing was often raised as particularly interesting topic which is why we wanted to deepen the conversation about it in a H2UB Start-up Meetup. We had a rich and fruitful discussion with various perspectives and the different experience levels helped to understand the financial adventure hydrogen start-ups go through and how they can successfully master it.
Thanks to valuable contributions by Nikola Viktorov (ecogenium), Berat Gider (NRW.Bank), Sonya Davidson (H2 Energy Now), Maximilian Wack and Silas Hofmann (HTM), Phillip Reisenberg (PMR Tech) and James Ringshall (HiiROC).

H2UB start-up meetup
At the startup meetup, the startups not only get to know the H2UB, but also like-minded pioneers from the hydrogen startup scene. The Wonder session was about how the H2UB, as a networker of the hydrogen economy, will offer startups added value. One thing is clear: hydrogen startups have different needs than startups from other ecosystems. More research effort, more investment needs, closer exchange with the hydrogen scene. We want to do that more with this format for our startups. Topic-specific impulses on financing, legal, marketing & sales are to follow at the next meetups.
In about 2 hours, exciting keynote speeches were given by industry representatives and experts from the mobility sector on the future of hydrogen. The lectures were streamed live online, so participation was possible from anywhere. You can watch the exciting lectures and discussions again in the following YouTube video:
