With more than 350 companies, 20 EU regions and 30 national associations as members, we encompass the entire value chain of the European hydrogen and fuel cell ecosystem.

Our vision is to propel global carbon neutrality by accelerating European hydrogen industry and we are the industrial key partner of the Clean Hydrogen partnership.

Startup Verband

Startups are the driving economic force of our future. Together with them, we want to make Germany and Europe a startup-friendly location that rewards risk-taking and offers the pioneers of our time the best conditions to succeed with innovative strength.

We are a large network and pioneer in startup research. We give the companies of the future a strong voice towards politics, business and the public.

Over the past ten years, we have grown into a strong community. With 1,200 members, we unite startups, scaleups, corporates and investors from all over Germany in the association.

Start-Up Nation Central

Start-Up Nation Central is the prime driver and facilitator of Israeli innovation that boosts business growth and generates impact. Established in 2013, Start-Up Nation Central Central is a non-profit organization that strengthens Israel’s innovation ecosystem and connects it to global challenges and stakeholders. Immersed in the Israeli technology ecosystem, we identify technological sectors with high growth potential and help them to scale.

Our unique position as an independent NGO enables us to create mutually beneficial outcomes for both our partners in the Israeli innovation ecosystem and our international partners from both the public and private sectors.

NRW.Energy4Climate

NRW.Energy4Climate is the new state company for energy and climate protection. Our goal: NRW becomes completely climate-neutral and a pioneer of the energy turnaround and remains Germany’s number one industrial state. In order to achieve this as quickly as possible, NRW.Energy4Climate, as the central driving force, bundles NRW’s activities in the areas of climate protection and energy transition and thus accelerates the transformation across all sectors.

GWI 

The Gas- und Wärme-Institut Essen e.V. (GWI) is a non-profit and independent research institute that has been shaping the energy issues of the future with its members, partners and customers for many decades. With the energy transition, the GWI has evolved into a technology-open energy institute that is involved in numerous research projects at the state, federal and EU level as part of its application-oriented research and development work, as well as direct cooperation with industry. Through the close integration between the research and development, education, testing laboratory and market conversion departments, the GWI has created far-reaching opportunities with its know-how to support the transformation of the energy system from generation to transport to end use at various levels.

decarbXpo (Messe Düsseldorf)

Messe Düsseldorf expands ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE into an Expo for Decarbonised Industries. The new format will be held from 20 to 22 September 2022 at the Düsseldorf trade fair centre in parallel with the world-leading trade fair glasstec. Along with a variety of storage solutions, it offers the industrial and commercial sectors a range of products and solutions, along with consultation, for decarbonisation that has never been seen before. The solid progress of this trade fair reflects the revolution in industry, politics, NGOs and society in general.

f-cell (Messe Stuttgart)

f-cell is where the hydrogen and fuel cell community meets to discuss technological advances, transfer knowledge and tap into international markets. The annual English-language conference and exhibition with f-cell award ceremony in the center of Europe is unique in its 21-year history. f-cell offers an ideal industry platform, in a modern exhibition and congress center in one of the strongest economic regions – for experts and newcomers alike. In addition, f-cell is present worldwide through numerous partners.

Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches

The DVGW is a recognized standardization body for the gas and water industry, a centre for technical and scientific know-how in the gas and water sectors and an initiator and promoter of research projects and innovations. The DVGW has been the competence network for all questions related to gas and water supply – for more than 160 years. Committed to serving the public interest DVGW works to assure the highest level of safety and quality in provision of natural gas and fresh water to the public. HZwo e.V.

The innovation cluster is Saxony’s competence center for all aspects of fuel cells and green hydrogen and manages a comprehensive value creation network in the Free State. HZwo provides the participating players with early access to future sales markets and thus a technological edge in order to sustainably secure Saxony’s future as a high-tech location.
