Labs & Tools
Smart Grid Technology Lab
The research laboratory focuses on the development of future low-voltage networks and electromobility. The laboratory has a test network equipped with the latest technology required for low voltage networks such as: B. on-load tap-changer transformers, energy storage systems, a photovoltaic system simulator, charging stations for electric vehicles and experimental prototype devices. The laboratory is highly configurable, which guarantees the possibility of carrying out a large number of different tests and experiments.
MILES – Model of International Energy Systems
European energy system simulation to investigate the benefits of large-scale technologies such as renewable energy, e-mobility, sector coupling, P-2-G, P-2-X, etc. in the European electricity network, taking into account the infrastructure (electricity and gas networks)
SIMONA
Agent-based distribution network simulation that depicts the interplay between decentralized systems in the distribution network, including RE, E-Mob, heat, gas, etc.
